BACKGROUND
Mahsa graduated as an architect in 2011 at the University of Applied Sciences and Technology in Iran. In 2013, she participated in the summer workshop M.Arch and several other courses for master’s students at the Daniel Faculty of Architecture at the University of Toronto – Canada. In 2018, she completed her master’s degree in Urban Development and Urban Design at the University of Stavanger. Her architect degree was approved by Norwegian Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (NOKUT)
She has over 10 years of experience as an architect and has participated on several different projects. She had an internship at Stavanger Municipality in the department of Building Affairs and Urban Antiquities for six months, which gave her good insight into the building applications process.
She has been painting in various genres and techniques for the past 25 years. She uses her paintings as an inspiration in most of her interior design projects. Her good knowledge of colors, shapes and visual aspects helps her to shape the architecture which has a unique spatial characteristics and expressions.
She established MHS Arkitektur & Design AS in July 2020. The company mainly provides architecture and interior design services for both private clients and companies engaged in building design. The company has also taken various illustration and visualization works, including Stavanger municipality’s “Pedersgata Hus for Hus” under the supervision of Byantikvaren
